From 10 to 14 February 2025, the Supervisory and Financial Information Authority (ASIF) participated in the FATF Standards Training Course, organised by the FATF Training Institute in partnership with the MONEYVAL Secretariat at the Guardia di Finanza Economic and Financial Police School in Ostia, Italy.
The programme brought together 41 participants from FATF and MONEYVAL jurisdictions and provided an opportunity to strengthen knowledge and understanding of international standards relating to the prevention and combating of money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing.
Through a combination of lectures, case studies and practical exercises, participants examined key aspects of the FATF Standards and their effective implementation, while exchanging experiences and best practices drawn from their respective jurisdictions.
The initiative formed part of the ongoing cooperation between the FATF Training Institute and the MONEYVAL Secretariat aimed at supporting member jurisdictions in the continuous development of professional expertise and operational capabilities in the AML/CFT/CPF field.
